Church History

New Covenant Church of Ephesus is the fruit of the vision that God gave to Mark & Michelle Moore. In 2007 God called Mark & Michelle to move from Istanbul to Kuşadası. He gave them a vision to train up leaders through discipleship and leadership training and see God send them all over Turkey and Central Asia. After much prayer and Godly counsel Mark & Michelle felt the primary tool for accomplishing this vision was through the establishment of a local church. In November of 2007, together with a Turkish family, Mark & Michelle moved to Kuşadası and began having church meetings in their living room. It was during this time that God gave us the name “New Covenant Church”. The word that God spoke to them at that time was from Acts 19:9-10 that God was redeeming the anointing of the church of Ephesus to once again be a “sending church”.

After 6 months, God opened the doors for the church to rent a facility just up the road from the Marina. While in that facility, the first New Covenant Training School was completed and graduated 9 students. After 2 years, the church began to outgrow the facility and the Lord opened the doors for another, larger facility. After nearly 4 years in that building, we were forced to move due to construction on the highway in front of us. We are now worshiping weekly in the Ilayda AvantGarde Hotel until God opens the doors for us to purchase a new building.

In November of 2010, New Covenant Church was officially recognized by the Turkish Government as an Association.
Every year, the Lord continues to add to our congregation and we are growing! We continue to step out in faith holding to the Word of God that, “I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it!”
